AAAR 2024 Editors’ Choice Award Winner

The paper “Socioecological dynamics of diverse global permafrost-agroecosystems under environmental change” published by the Permafrost-agroecosystem Action Group was awarded the 2024 Editor’s Choice Award at Arctic, Antarctic and Alpine Research. The authorship team consists of 28 individuals representing 9 countries and the paper is, to our knowledge, the first global study on permafrost-agroecosystems. The award was selected by consensus of the journal Editors for articles published during the 2024 calendar year to “recognize an influential paper demonstrating excellence in contributing to our understanding of physical and environmental science in cold environments.”
