Young Permafrost enthusiasts! Please, consider subscribing to the next Permafrost Young Research Network – International Permafrost Association Workshop, which will open the next European Conference on Permafrost (EUCOP6) in Puigcerdà (Catalonia, Spain). Subscriptions are open till 6th February 2023! There are a number of Travel Grants you can apply to for attending to the PYRN-IPA Workshop and the EUCOP, including i) PYRN-IPA Travel Grants; ii) International Association of Geomorphologists Travel Grants; iii) Swiss Polar Institut Travel Grants.
The workshop will include an icebreaker night on 16th June 2023, and a full day of seminars on permafrost science and soft skills from outstanding permafrost experts on 17th June 2023. Some of our speakers are Hugues Lantuit (AWI), McKenzie Khun (University of New Hampshire), Claire Treat (AWI), Daniel Draebing (University of Bayreuth), Julia Boike (AWI), Birgit Wild (Stockholm University).
Attending the PYRN-IPA Workshop is free of charge, you would only need to:
1) be registered to the EUCOP Conference;
2) be a PYRN member;
3) be an Early Career Scientist;
4) have submitted an abstract as first author to the EUCOP Conference (deadline 15th January 2023!).
