The International Permafrost Association is proud to introduce the “IPA Lifetime Achievement Award”. Dr. Larry Hinzman, director of the International Arctic Research Center in Fairbanks, Alaska will be giving the 2009 Nye Lecture on December 15 2009 at 5 pm at the AGU Fall Meeting in San Francisco. New IPA report in Permafrost and Periglacial Processes

The latest issue of Permafrost and Periglacial Process has just come out and features a special issue organized by the Permafrost Young Researchers Network.
